In this role Cindy manages Katmai’s enterprise-wide compliance and ethics program, risk management, human resources and industrial security. Cindy has a broad range of experience with the SBA 8(a) business development program, federal government contracting compliance management, government relations, and program and policy development.
She has worked within the Alaska Native Corporation community for over twenty years and has been dedicated to pursuing efforts to maximize minority-preference programs in order to provide the maximum return to corporation shareholders. She was honored as a “Top 40 Under 40” business leader by the Alaska Journal of Commerce during her prior tenure at Alutiiq, LLC.
Vanden Berg has lived in Alaska for over thirty years. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington. She is also a Certified Ethics and Compliance Professional.
